Para Bellum Wargames has put together a selection of bundled Conquest: The Last Argument Of Kings armies for you to choose from if you want to hit that 2000-point mark right away with your collection! There are four to choose from right now for their 35mm Fantasy wargame.
W’adrhŭn Heralds Of Thunder Army // Conquest

The idea with these sets is that they do all the heavy lifting for you. Sure, you'll have to paint these up but if you're looking to get an army for an upcoming tournament, this might be a good route to go down. Inside the Heralds of Thunder Army, you get...
- W’adrhŭn: Predator
- W’adrhŭn: Raptor Riders
- W’adrhŭn: Blooded
- W’adrhŭn: Hunters
- W’adrhŭn: Chieftain Tontorr Rider
- W’adrhŭn: Thunder Chieftain Artisant Series
- W’adrhŭn: Tontorr
- W’adrhŭn: Hunting Pack
- W’adrhŭn: Veterans
- W’adrhŭn: Thunder Riders
If you're not so enamoured by the forces of the W’adrhŭn then how about the mighty Nords and the Blood Tide?
Nords Blood Tide Army // Conquest
This set comes with...
- Nords: Blooded
- Nords: Ugr
- Nords: Trolls
- Nords: Fern Beastpack
- Nords: Stalkers
- Nords: Konungyr
- Nords: Volva
- Nords: Bow Chosen
- Nords: Huskarls
- Nords: Sea Jotnar Artisan Series
- Nords: Mountain Jotnar
- Nords: Valkyries
Another thing to note about these boxed sets is that they come with the rules for playing The Last Argument Of Kings (as you'd expect) but you also get the rules for playing their skirmish game, First Blood. There are a LOT of miniatures in this set for First Blood and because of the wealth of options, this means that you can make all manner of smaller warbands. You could perhaps use this as a way to mark your progress through the painting of these mammoth sets.
You can also set to thundering across the battlefield in a full Glorious Charge with the army set for The Hundred Kingdoms.
Hundred Kingdoms Glorious Charge Army // Conquest
I absolutely love this as a themed army set. I don't like the idea of having to paint a bunch of horses BUT I do think this would look absolutely amazing when arrayed on the battlefield. Inside, you get...
- Mounted Noble Lord
- Mounted Squires
- Household Knights
- Priory Commander
- Order of the Crimson Tower
- Order of the Ashen Dawn
Very cool and a nice way for Para Bellum to showcase the newer miniatures from The Hundred Kingdoms range. Lastly, we have the Fallen Legion set for those wanting to build an army of Roman-themed Undead for use in Conquest.
Old Dominion Fallen Legion Army // Conquest
Inside this set, you get a whole bunch of awesome undead spirits and spectres as well as veteran warriors that have retained some of their skills from before they were entombed.
- Mounted Strategos
- Athanatoi
- Kataphraktoi
- Xhiliarch
- Praetorian Guard
- Varangian Guard
- Legionnaires
- Archimadrite
- Kheres
- Bone Golems
Very cool indeed! If you're seeking to dive into some Fantasy wargaming in 35mm with the world of Conquest then this offers up some neat options for those looking to build a new army straight out of the box. No faffing with list building, just crack these out and start getting stuck in.
Will you be scooping one of these up?
