1st Corps Release American Civil War Walking Wounded
September 8, 2023 by brennon
1st Corps has been showing off a few new sets for those looking to dive into 28mm American Civil War wargaming. The first of these sets cover some of the Walking Wounded that have taken a blow or two whilst fighting for the Union or the Confederates.
Walking Wounded Wearing Kepi // 1st Corps
There are two packs available for you to use to represent these unfortunate fellows. As 1st Corps mention, these would be great for those that want to represent disordered units on the tabletop or for anyone making dioramas and vignettes. Additionally, these might be good to work into the back of a unit if you're trying to make a more beleaguered band of troops.
Walking Wounded Wearing Slouch Hat // 1st Corps
As well as the Walking Wounded, you have a some soldiers who are looking a little more dashing and heroic. There are some new sets for you to choose from when wanting to wave the flag for the Union or the Confederates with these Mounted Standard Bearers.
Mounted Standard Bearer Wearing Kepi // 1st Corps
As with the Walking Wounded that we saw above, there are options for these soldiers with Kepi or Slouch Hats so you can use these to represent both sides of the conflict and the folks in between as well. There are options to get the horses galloping or standing still. The galloping options are from a previous release but the standing horses are new.

These will be handy when looking to build up the command section of your army. You can then do some mixing and matching with these and have both mounted and dismounted variants to choose from.
Will you be picking these up for the American Civil War?
