1898 Miniaturas Preview Upcoming 28mm Moroccan Infantry

1898 Miniaturas has plans to expand their collection of Moroccan troops for use in your 1900-1925 clashes on the tabletop. Some work-in-progress sculpts have been previewed over the last few weeks that will soon join the mounted range online.
Moroccan Infantry // 1898 Miniaturas
The set comes armed with rifles at the ready and in a myriad of poses for proper skirmishing on the tabletop. I really like the fellow kneeling with a rifle at the ready to have a pop at someone from ambush. The fellow drawing his dagger also looks great and could be a solid command figure.
More miniatures have also been showcased over the past few weeks including these command figures. Another chap with a curved dagger who looks like he is ready to rile up his fellow soldiers for a good scrap.

The aim is to produce a range of foot soldiers alongside a command group inspired by characters from the time. These folks are also working on foot and mounted casualties for when the fighting gets tough.
We're rather big fans of the 1898 Miniaturas range and they don't seem to have put a foot wrong when it comes to their collection so far. I think these are going to be a sterling additional release for the growing Moroccan and French Foreign Legion range.
Have you snapped up models from 1898 Miniaturas?

those look nice
Vote up for these. In these days of multipart plastics the metal mini often goes un-noticed. But here we have some excellently posed and sculpted minis that could only exist due to the talents of the sculptor and the traditional art of making a physical master (rather than it being done on CAD software in a “T Pose” and then re-posed). I’ll definitely be getting some of these 😀
Ooh nice fighters would be great as Afghan’s as well.
thats what i was going to say, add to some WGA stuff in plastic and you;d have a very characterful force
