1898 Miniaturas’ New Visigoths Archers Joining The Range

1898 Miniaturas showed off the new Visigoth Archers that will be joining their range of 28mm metals for use in 6th to 8th Century battles. The archers provide you with some much-needed ranged options to complement the Armoured and Unarmoured warriors already available.

These designs by fanath.art cover a mixture of different poses for your archers. You've got archers firing, reloading, taking aim and stalking. I am a big fan of archers in pretty much any game and it's always great to see the different styles of archers that you get between cultures.

It's good to see an armoured archer amongst the set as well, perhaps the leader of the unit who has been tasked with taking these skirmishers and drilling them ahead of their next raid. This seems like it will be a solid set for those making a Visigoth warband for games of SAGA but could also be used to bulk out a larger army as well.

It looks like we're going to be getting two sets of these miniatures when they are eventually released. This would work with the way 1898 Miniaturas has released the range so far.

The Visigoths are looking great and you could use all of the metal range from 1898 Miniaturas to build your army or mix them in alongside some of the Dark Age plastic sets out there to give you more options.
