15mm.co.uk Re-releases 1980’s Napoleonic Miniatures With Brickdust
July 2, 2015 by stvitusdancern
Brickdust was the name of the colour of red that the British chose for their uniforms during the Napoleonic War years. Back in the greatest decade in history, the 80's of course, there was a company called Tabletop Games that had created a 15mm scale for Napleonics.
That company may be gone, but 15mm.co.uk has revived the range and are releasing these classic miniatures in this the 200th anniversary of the battle of Waterloo. They plan on releasing the entire line with all of the participating countries in the near future with pictures of each miniature.
The Bavarian armies was recently updated with pictures. The looks of these miniatures brings back fond memories of my childhood playing Napoleonic Wars with by dad, uncle and brother. This just might be enough to get me back into this era, I wonder if I can recreate Waterloo in this scale on to a 1:1 basis, I might need some help painting, any takers?
Are you a fan of Napoleonics?
