Bolster Your 15mm Medieval Armies With Khurasan Miniatures
July 24, 2023 by brennon
Khurasan Miniatures have been expanding their range of 15mm Medieval miniatures for use during the Mid to Late 14th Century. Various new armoured troops are available on foot and mounted so that you can bolster your armies battling across Europe during the period.

For example, you can get your hands on these 14th Century Commanders who come both mounted and on foot in the heart of the melee. These fellows are the cream of the crop because they come with those gloriously crested helms. You wouldn't miss them if they were charging across the battlefield. I like the detail worked into the sculpts and also appreciate the fact that the horses look right rather than feeling like stumpy ponies!
If you want to stick with the splendid warriors in their magnificent colours then you can also get a pack containing Bataille Commanders & Heralds.

The knights are fantastic of course but I think the Heralds are pretty darn special. You can never have too many trumpets blaring when you look as flashy as these folks do. Whilst I imagine these Heralds might find themselves in more relaxed settings, I do like the idea of using them as part of a battle, perhaps caught unawares as their column marches down the road.
You can also get yourself the little less gaudily adorned but distinctly deadly Mounted Men-At-Arms In Great Helms.

It often pays to have some good cavalry elements in your army for running down your foes, sending them crashing down into the mud. Again, the details are impressive here and these would make a great addition to a Medieval army.
There is a lot more for the 14th Century collection over on the Khurasan Miniatures Website. If this has inspired you, perhaps go and check out what they have available!
Could you be tempted to dive into some 15mm Medieval wargaming?
