Snag 15mm Late Republican Roman Set From Plastic Soldier

Plastic Soldier Company has released more of the old 15mm Corvus Belli range for you to snap up and add to your Ancient wargames of Mortem et Gloriam and beyond. The newest pack is a set of Late Republican Marian Roman soldiers.

There are thirty-two miniatures that come in the set which is a new Ultracast plastic take on the classic miniatures. You get a good mix of different Roman soldiers in the set armed with gladius and scutum as well as pilum.

I think the set offers up the chance to make some individually based Romans if you like but I think most folks will be looking to make a good, mixed and multi-based unit. You could have the front rank getting ready to throw their pilum whilst others get ready behind. Maybe the gladius armed Romans could be used on the flanks or as part of a unit that has started to drift out of formation and fight more individually on the battlefield?
