Герої, Heroes By Roman Hryhoriev Come To Westfalia’s Kickstarter

I think it is fair to say that I am a fan of Westfalia Miniatures, the range that Kawe has curated over time has included phenomenal sculpts by some of the industries leading artists. With the upcoming campaign, another name is going to be added to the ranks, that of Roman Hryhoriev.

Roman Hryhoriev has sculpted a set of four Slavic-themed Heroes for use in D&D although you can use them in any tabletop game. The miniatures are a mix of human and fantasy races but still all with that distinctive dress and look from Eastern Europe, whether it's the humans or the dwarf or elves they all look as if they have stepped from the pages of history.

Roman has done some great work on sculpting the figures, they are sculpted at 32mm so they'll fit in well with so many existing ranges, but if you fancy a paladin with attitude or warrior/barbarian that isn't the cookie cutter woolly y-fronts then these have to be worth a look to make your heroes stand out from the crowd.

Raddle Miniatures

He may not be an out-and-out dwarf but he's certainly short in stature which may explain the grumpy demeanour on his bearded bake. Scale over chain is an excessive amount of armour to be equipped with and that wicked spiked axe will certainly give people pause for thought.

Tank // Boris Wołoszyn

A lumbering behemoth of an opponent has been sculpted by Boris Wołoszyn to stand against the heroes and it has all the hallmarks of his nightmare fuelled sculpting style. The grotesque monster armed with a wicked hammer and sickle and festooned with skulls is the very epitome of brutality and horror for the brave heroes to stand against. He has also sculpted a henchman who is fond of a tipple apparently 😉

Roman is a new name to me and he certainly has hit the ground running, hopefully, the campaign is a big success during this incredibly difficult period. The work he has done on his patreon really deserves a much wider audience which Kawe is talking to him about, and he is available for commission work. With everything that is going on in Ukraine right now if you can spread the word and support in any way then it would be massively appreciated.
