Unboxing: Mythic Battles: Pantheon
September 4, 2017 by thisisazrael
As part of MYTHIC DAY Justin sat down with Leo from Mythic Games to open one of the first full production copies of Mythic Battles: Pantheon.
The contents of the core box alone are absolutely outstanding, from the 4 playable maps to the 3D terrain and the arrow straight plastics to the stunning art, the whole thing sings for me.
You can see all the videos (including Justin and I eating snails), photos and the Grand Final of the Mythic Battles: Pantheon tournament over on our Mythic Day Live Blog!
Are you excited to receive your copy or do you have forgetting to back Kickstarter regret?

So any ideas when it’s going to hit retail??
It’s not going to regular, distributed retail. Something down to distribution costs, profit margins and stuff like that affecting the final “in your hands” cost to the point where it would be a silly price.
They are, however planning on making available directly from themselves in a webstore, at some unknown date after KS delivery date, which is still slated for December.
Short answer, 2018 but only direct from their website. Backers will not have theirs until December provided there are no delays.
Goodness, that is amazing… I’m so glad I pledged !
Only two kickstarters I’ve backed is Kingdom Death, and this. I don’t even slightly regret either of them.
Holy Crap it is coming WOW!!!!!
what was that Leo? three huge whats?!?! :O be careful Justin doesn’t get out his clippers 😉
So looking forward to playing this game and painting the mini’s.
I want some of their Kickstarter expansions and beasts. Will those be available from their website too?
Great video. Very excited for this! No idea where it will fit mind you…
Hopefully this isn’t ‘famous last words’, but this looks like it’s been a very impressive kickstarter: quality throughout and on time to boot!
Well I just heard from Mythic that it wont even be available direct from them. The game is a collaberation with monolith and they both need to agree to release retail and monolith only want to sell via kickstarter (which is not meant to be a store but ok…). I think that is a really shit thing to do, the game has a lot of coverage on here and is also lookibg like a great game and to not actually allow people to buy it seems counter to the whole business thing. Also, that means any kickstarter exclusives were all… Read more »
