Explore The World Of Fallout With Modiphius & A New Miniatures Game!
April 24, 2017 by brennon
Fallout: Wasteland Warfare is on the cards in the near future from the folks at Modiphius. Responsible for the likes of Achtung! Cthulhu and role-playing games for Conan and Infinity this crew are stepping out of the vault into the wastelands.
So far we know that the miniatures are all going to be in 32mm scale and seem to be drawn from the look and feel of Fallout 4. There will also be a series of PvP, Co-Op and Solo tabletop games you'll be able to play out which sounds fascinating indeed!
Character Previews
We got a look at some of the characters making their way to the tabletop in more detail including the Sole Survivor and Dogmeat here...
When you're playing through the solo adventures and such this might indeed be the character you pick up. You can also battle it out with some of the factions in Fallout with the likes of the Paladin for the Brotherhood of Steel.
Or maybe even the rampaging Supermutants who I have to say must be a lot more to play as right?
Hopefully, we'll find out more about this in the coming weeks and months but does this have you excited?
Will you be exploring the wasteland with Modiphius?

I hope this has more roleplay elements for creativity and less sort of board game restrictions. Should be fun though either way
From what I know of Modiphius, they specialise in roleplay, so the hope is strong! (i could be wrong though)
Well I just looked at their site… I’m a little wrong…. but still hope….
Yes! This is gonna be awesome!
Those are really nice.
Chris Birch from Modiphius has already given us a few more details in the unofficial Fallout: Wasteland Warfare group over on Facebook (founded by Ash Barker the moment the announcement got out, he’s a fast one!). The miniatures will be “very high quality resin – uk production” he said, and he also told us that there’ll be more info coming out this week, including a dev blog. On a poll about what things we would like to see, he commented that there’s still a few factions missing (at that point, Brotherhood of Steel was the only faction people had added… Read more »
Chris also said there would be more information this week so I do not believe we will need to wait for “weeks”. Also, this is will not be a KS.
this is going to be so expensive.
They have soooo many cool stuff going on….ist unbelievable! Can´t keep up…but still great!
Very interested although I do not need another game right now. But it is Fallout….
I like Fallout, but why 32mm! We don’t need another mini size.
Is 32mm not fairly standard? Aside from 28mm I think that’s what I have most of.
Heroic 28mm (GW) is pretty much 32mm. Knight Models does 35mm and Malifaux is in this ballpark too. There really isnt much between them so your existing terrain should be a reasonable fit.
This could be very interesting. I never played the games but will be keeping an eye on these.
Very, very much interested in this, love the setting as a whole. The rules side sounds interesting as well, but should does not be to my / people’s liking there are quite a few post-apoc rulesets out there that will do the various Fallout factions justice.
Looking forward to learning more, I’d better start saving up bottlecaps though 😉
Looks cool, all I know is that I NEED that Deathclaw mini 😀
YES!!! YEEEEEES! Please say it’s a role play game with more brotherhood and enclave etc. This will sell if it requires a Kickstarter
I have loved the PC series, been playing for so long. Glad to see this come to the table top.
Looks to have HUGE potential. Need more images of the minis though!
And there was me thinking I was clean of my Fallout addiction! 😀
This simply has my name written all over it 😀 . I am such a Fallout fanboy, i will just have to have it.
Well, crap. There goes a lot of money. Oh well, not eating is a good diet plan, right?
Achtung Cthulhu was put back a few times so it ended up being a bit of a wait till the product arrived after pre-order (and the alleged fist release date). But in the end the extra wait was well worth it and I have nothing but praise for their customer service, so I think my wallet will be letting out a large sob.
Take my wallet….here…..just take the damn thing…….
the monster in the centre looks fabulous.
This has Rogue Stars written all over it!! 😀 😉 😀
Yes !
