WWII US Troopers Get Ready For War With Perry Miniatures
April 17, 2018 by brennon
We showed off some of the previews from Perry Miniatures yesterday and as well as the Medieval Knights we also have some WWII US Infantry on the way too.
They have only finished two of these models so far, some amazing WiP mock-ups of how the final models might look. They are going to be themed after those who fought in the Mediterranean theatre during the war so you'll see them armed and dressed for battling in Tunisia and Italy.
These soldiers are still a long way off as they've only just started sculpting them BUT make sure to keep an eye out for more previews in the future.
Have you considered playing a WWII army which is focused around the Mediterranean theatre?

Perry’s must have a psychic on staff that constantly reads my mind to find out what shinies I won’t be able to resist!
nice.
Hopefully these will be out when I eventually get to my US 34th Infantry Division project for the Italy campaign.
Will these be 28mm?
Yup, though less heroic scale than most other manufacturers. For me they’re the best WW2 models available in 28mm though the new Empress late war NW ranges come very close.
I have been looking forward to this for a long time 🙂
After @oriskany ´s Tunisia report I am very ready to have Americans outfitted for the North African theatre. Just like @dorthonion .
Very good and we´ll meet at Sidi Bou Zid. JJ for President!
“JJ for President?” I hope you don’t mean “James Johnson,” i.e., me. The US has already had two “Johnsons” for President, and neither of them wound up doing very well. 😐
