Panzer Orders A WWII Card Game Hits Kickstarter
February 22, 2017 by stvitusdancern
I am a sucker for WWII games in any shape or format and that is why I am attracted to Panzer Orders from Matt White, which is now on Kickstarter.
Panzer Orders is a two-player card game where you choose a starting points value and you create decks with soldiers and equipment to face off against your opponent.
The game has easy mechanics that will make it fun for anyone from a newbie to an experienced gamer. It is about building the best synergistic deck out there and being able to face off against whatever your opponent throws at you.
As you build your battle groups you can add more units that are placed face down until you attack or are attacked. Think of a Tiger in ambush against an M4 Sherman with the 75mm gun, it could get ugly.
What I find nice about this game is the artwork is original and all the cards are unique. It adds a nice variety to your gameplay experience. The game uses the simple dice roll off mechanic based on the values on your cards.
This looks to be a quick and light game for those looking to scratch the WWII itch. You can play it solo as well!
Would you play this?
