Empress Miniatures has been previewing more of the kits that are going to be available when the Kickstarter lands for their British Airborne. Arnhem is filling up with Paul Hicks' British soldiers as a new set of WWII Airborne got previewed recently.

British Airborne - Empress Miniatures OCT

British Airborne // Empress Miniatures

This features another dynamic set of soldiers who are in the midst of a firefight. You could imagine them sneaking around in rubble-strewn streets, taking potshots as Germans as they peek from windows. The expressions on the faces of these Hicks sculpts are amazing and they capture the individuality of all those fighting on the tabletop.

Amazing work once again and I feel like a lot of folks are going to be snapping these up to use in a variety of World War II wargames. These four miniatures join the previous previews alongside a few extra elements like this

Airborne 6pdr - Empress Miniatures

Airborne 6pdr // Empress Miniatures

This compact version of the 6pdr could be carried in alongside a glider so that it could be deployed alongside the Airborne. Once there, it could be used to take out advancing tanks and provide the British with some additional support. You don't want to be taking on armour without something like this?
