A new set of releases dropped last week from Battlefront Miniatures for those diving into World War III: Team Yankee. We kick things off with the addition of some Militia Groups for this 15mm Cold War Gone Hot wargame. Wolverines!

Lead the way with your Militia Group and this motley assortment of characters who have managed to get their hands on whatever they could find. You've got a good mix of weapons here from assault rifles through to RPGs! The set, as a whole, comes with twenty-seven miniatures, allowing you to make a fun warband of fighters. If you're a fan of classic movies, you might recognise some of these characters too.
You might want to get yourself around the tabletop to secure objectives. That's where these Pickup Trucks come in.

Laden down with hastily erected machine guns, these vehicles are going to be good for striking at the Soviets before rushing off into cover. You get four of them in the pack but I reckon that you should get your hands on a few more to flood the board with targets.
If you're looking to blast people away then you might get some use out of the ASU-85 Assault Gun Company.

Who would say no to a 120mm gun mortar and the fact that it could be used amphibiously? The Soviets didn't come unprepared for the invasion of America. That low profile and a big gun could make all of the difference!
You can also get your hands on the BTR-D Platoon which comes with a variety of different options.

Last but not least, there is also the rather hard-to-say 2S9 Nona-S SP Gun-Mortar Battery. That's a lot of funky monikers.

What do you make of these new miniatures for the Americans fighting back against the Soviets? Also, what do you make of those seriously deadly pieces of Soviet kit that they're using for the invasion and occupation of America?
