An affordable solution to your T34 problem?

This might have been out for a bit, but I'm only getting around to it now... that's the problem when we lose our WW2 aficionado...
The Plastic Solider Company have released a set of 5 (count them!) Russian T34 tanks in 15mm, or as we like to call it... Flames of War scale!
We haven't seen the actual kits yet, but we're confident that they will be up to the usual Plastic Soldier Company standard and at the price, they really can't be too bad.
On a related note. I have a sprue of two of their 28mm plastic Russians in Summer Uniforms (I got them in a cracking free giveaway at Arkham Gaming Centre... our LGS), that I was going to use for Secrets of the 3rd Reich. They're not bad at all... the moulding is a bit soft here and there... but I've found that with WW2 models it's about the look of the whole platoon, not the individual models that counts.
Here's a quick pic of the painted versions of the 28mm Russian from the website.
Hopefully we'll get our hands on a box of the T34s soon and then we'll get them opened on camera for you.

You can never have enough t34’s – 34/85 best tank of the war…
I have 2 boxes of there Russian 15mm Infantry which are better detailed than FOW Metal but are not as bulky. I made up 47 rifle teams and 9 command teams out of the 2 boxes am getting some of the T34s at our local show in Wolverhampton in 2 Weeks
Less than half the price and plastic instead of metal? Plastic Soldier are onto a winner there.
At last, someone willing to prove Battlefront are low quality AND vastly overpriced.
This is a step in a great direction! If battlefront ever followed suit I would hope to see proper russian tank armies!
Personally. If they come up with boxes of british Shermans I WILL have an Irish Guards regiment!
Glad to see AFV’s on way.
First saw the Infantry at Bovington…work great in 15mm, also available in other scales in same setup.
If i sell my 20mm i might revisit these guys
Andy,
I hope you have more WWII 15mm articles coming in the future. I have really missed the FOW articles and videos. The Plastic Soldier line looks like a great addition to 15mm WWII gaming. I hope someone does an assembly video soon like you used to do for the FOW stuff. Take care.
