White Dragon Show Off Heavy Weapons For Courage In Contact
November 8, 2019 by brennon
Some big guns have been shown off for those diving into Modern wargaming and White Dragon Miniatures' Courage In Contact range. Both the British and Taliban are getting some larger weapons which will be useful in subduing the enemy.
First up we have the Taliban 12.7mm DShK here which is going to be unloading on the British and pinning them down as they rush through the streets. The set comes with a gunner who is set up on some rocky outcrop and also the supporting soldier with ammo packs clutched under his arms. I like the finish we get from the White Dragon line up which presents clean looking miniature which appear easy to assemble and paint.
On the British side of things we also have the 40mm Grenade Machine Gun which has been locked and loaded, ready to blast through defences, take down vehicles and buildings and cause a lot of damage.
I remember the sound of these from games like Modern Warfare and they are very nifty looking pieces of kit. Whilst everyone likes a good machine gun I think swapping out the bullets for big shells takes things to another level.
British Snipers Get Spotting
As well as these big guns they also teased some British Snipers which are also on the cards, a different type of covering fire.
The set, once again, looks like a good one which toes the line between being realistic and also cool for those who want something a little less 'rivet counter'. You could either go delving into this properly with all sorts of spot on camouflage or pick up a copy of Modern Warfare and paint the models up to suit that game and its high octane combat.
Are you tempted to pick up these new models from White Dragon when they eventually release?

Awesome sculpts! The Courage in Contact minis are really well done.
I love the bulky, stylised look of them. The realistically proportioned minis from empress are great, but they stand out a bit when they are put against my more pulp inspired minis.
They look great for middle-eastern game’s.
Wouldn’t be a fan of the way the beards are sculpted, but otherwise, these are great and look a joy to paint.
