Wargames Foundry Resurrect 20mm Arab/Israeli Wars Collection
April 7, 2020 by brennon
Wargames Foundry has found some classic models from 1996 and is bringing them back to the tabletop. This 20mm Arab/Israeli Wars collection designed by Dave Andrews is getting ready for a tough battle in the sands of the Middle-east.
According to the information on the Wargames Foundry website, the collection will work for those building armies fit for the Six-Day War, the War Of Attrition and the Yom Kippur War. This means you've got troops which will work throughout the late 1960s and into the early period of the 1970s too.
The range features a lot of different troops, leading figures, special weapons and more. In terms of the actual factions represented you've got options for the Israeli Paratroopers/Infantry, Syrians, Egyptians and also a range of Assault Troops too. So, if you're looking for specialists or regular line troops, you've got the options.
It's always nice to see these older ranges coming back to the fore and these seem to have stood the test of time. 20mm is also a scale that a lot of folks use for their Historical wargaming so it might be well worth diving in and picking these up if you want to play something on the cusp of proper modern-day warfare on the tabletop.
Are you going to be taking a peek at this range in more detail? I have to say, I don't know much about this conflict but it seems like an intriguing one where a lot of different factions stuck their oar in!
