Wargames Atlantic has previewed the World War I British Infantry Sprues that you'll soon be able to pick up for your Historical wargames.
World War I British Infantry Sprue // Wargames Atlantic
It has been a while since we saw the World War I British (last time they were just renders!) but it's good to finally get a good look at all of the options that we'll get to play with. There will be rifles by the bucket, all sorts of head options (including gas masks) and a collection of up close and personal weapons too.

I have been eagerly waiting for this plastic kit to land. I want to snap it up and make almost a World War I Fellowship. Taking Tolkien's time during World War I as a guide, it would be neat to do a band of nine heroes (taking some cues from Middle-earth) that have found themselves on a deadly mission behind enemy lines.
You are going to be able to pick up this plastic kit in January. I can't wait.
What do you think of the sprues now we've seen them properly?
"You are going to be able to pick up this plastic kit in January. I can't wait..."
I like sprues like these!
Oh would you look at the separate gas mask cases! WW1 Brits you say. VBCW regular army I retort (expensively).
Oh yes
Nice many Baldricks were harmed in the making of this figures.
They are great sprues and I love them 😀
Shame There is NO officer in mess uniform or even an overcoat, or another in a Black and Tan cap. I will defiantly pick up a pair of these, not 5 boxes.
You can get such from Footsore https://footsoreminiatures.co.uk/collections/inter-war-period-1918-1939/products/british-auxililary-characters 🙂
They did officers on the french sprue and it just ended up giving you a load of unused minis if you where after the standard infantry. I suspect they might do something with Wargames Atlantic Digital with more specialist minis.
Oh yes, ive been waiting for these to finish by WWI project off. Cracking looking sprue layout too. Great work WGA!
Looking forward to Gerry getting some of these assembled
Fantastic! Been waiting on these for ages
