Wargames Atlantic Update The BEF & Home Guard Set Coming Soon
October 13, 2023 by brennon
Wargames Atlantic are closing in on getting the final few orders in to turn their British Expeditionary Force and Home Guard plastic set out there into the wild. As the first finalist from the Vox Populi system that they've set up, they are looking to get these 28mm miniatures into tooling soon for some World War II wargaming.
British Expeditionary Force & Home Guard // Wargames Atlantic
This set has already been tweaked and updated thanks to the feedback from people in the Wargames Atlantic community giving you options for making the British Expeditionary Force as they head out onto the battlefield or the Home Guard as they watch over Old Blighty.
Whilst these poor fellows were part of the vanguard that got forced back to the likes of Dunkirk, they could still give you a plucky set of soldiers to send to the front to fight off Hitler and the Axis. As with all of the sets from Wargames Atlantic, this comes with loads of weapons and accessories for you to make your fighting force.

Peter Dennis has already done some lovely work on the cover art for the box (see above). As well as being useful for World War II wargaming on the continent during World War II and defending the beaches of home, these soldiers could also be used for some Pulp wargaming and perhaps a Very British Civil War.
Transform Your Miniatures
As well as the new plastic kit in the works, Wargames Atlantic has also produced this Weird War Conversions set that would be great for taking your World War I miniatures and giving them a new look for A War Transformed.
Weird War Conversion Part // Wargames Atlantic
This is available from Atlantic Digital and also from the Only-Games website where you can get them printed off for you rather than having to fiddle with STL Files. With a lot of folks eager to dive into A War Transformed, it could be worth scooping this up.
Will you be checking out these new kits from Wargames Atlantic?

I had earmarked the WW1 Brits for VBCW and still may use them (they arrived today and heck they’re nice). It’s a great set of options they’re showing for BEF though.
fab looking figures.
