The problem with a Spring army in the Soviet Union/Russia is that John will have to coat the lower half of every model and figure with mud. And I suppose a few of the troops will have slipped and John will have to coat the back or front of the fig as well.
Every time Warren says “Spring time” I’m hearing the song from the producers…
Haben sie gerhurt das deutscher band?
Is it “spring time” or “sprr-r-r-r-r-r-ring time?” 😀
God I feel like I’m on Broadway at the showing of the Producers ( spring time for Hitler ) 🙂 . And no Warren I’m not dancing .

I have some sympathy for @johnlyons painting up any russian force in any period requires determination especially when its a points based system as russian infantry is usually half the cost of any other force…
Were you editing the footage as it was being recorded or was it just a coincidence that @johnlyons is wearing the same T-shirt in this Vlog and on the screen behind you all (at about 01:40)?
I live for continuity 😉
I cannot wait for the painting tutorial for the Soviets! I just started a Soviet army myself.
For anyone wondering, our kickstarter mentioned in this vlog is now live! 🙂 check it out here;
