Victrix Add Three New 12mm WW2 Vehicle Kits To Their Collection
July 6, 2023 by brennon
Victrix Miniatures has produced three new plastic vehicle kits in 12mm scale for you to use when playing out World War II battles on the tabletop. There are some new vehicles for the Soviets, Germans and the US/British!
Soviet SU76 // Victrix Miniatures
The Soviet SU76 entered service early in 1943 and came mounted with the 76mm gun on the top of the T70 light tank chassis. There were over 14,000 of them produced over the course of the war making it one of the most prolific additions to the Soviet war machine. This set comes with options for making the standard crew and those with winter gear plus bonus stowage options. There is a lower version with a low back and a later one with a higher back to its cab.
Next up, we're turning to the Germans who are bringing some artillery into the mix alongside some options for transporting troops. This set comes with the German PAK 40 & Sdkfz. 11.
German PAK 40 & Sdkfz. 11 // Victrix Miniatures
With both the German PAK 40 & Sdkfz. 11 you've got some solid anti-tank guns which can blow a hole in a bunch of armour that the Allies are seeking to throw at you. The Sdkfz. 11 then gives you a way to move men around the tabletop but also tow those huge guns into place so they can do their duty!
PAK 40 // Victrix Miniatures
You get four Sdkfz. 11s in the set alongside four PAK 40 Anti-Tank guns as well. You also get the crews for the guns which is nice to see and those that are rocking around in the back of the vehicles too. You even get some stowage and ammo boxes, spent spells and the sandbags that you see here. The perfect set for making some neat dioramas and setting up a solid defence in the face of the Allied assault.
Finishing things off, we also have a neat troop carrier for the Allies as the Americans and the British can make good use of the Lloyd Carrier!
Lloyd Carrier & 6pdr // Victrix Miniatures
Who would have thought it but that 57mm gun could actually do some serious damage to German armour even if it wouldn't make much of a dent in a Tiger or Panther. Getting those guns into position, you have the Lloyd Carrier which found use from 1939 all the way through to 1960. If it's not broken, don't fix it!
This combination of gun and carrier is going to be very handy with three of each for you to consider dropping into your collections. In a similar fashion to the other sets, you also get stowage options, ammo crates, spent shells and the crew. You also get the soft top version for the Lloyd Carrier if you want to run with that.
Some great miniatures for a bit of 12mm wargaming!
