Victory At Sea Bundles & More Now Available For Pre-Order
October 26, 2020 by brennon
Warlord Games has started taking pre-orders for a load of new bits and bobs, especially if you're excited to dive in and play Victory At Sea. At the head of these pre-orders is the new Hardback Rulebook for Victory At Sea.
Hardback Rulebook // Victory At Sea
This set of rules covers the clashes between the likes of the US and Japan in the Pacific but also covers various theatres of war from World War II. You'll find options within for small skirmish clashes all the way through to big battles between some absolutely titanic (forgive the pun) battleships.
Victory At Sea Bundles
If this does appeal to you then you can now order bundles which give you access to a good Starter Fleet for each of the factions in the game plus the big rulebook you can see above. Check them out here...
Imperial Japanese Navy Starter Fleet Bundle // Victory At Sea
United States Navy Starter Fleet Bundle // Victory At Sea
Royal Navy Starter Fleet Bundle // Victory At Sea
Kriegsmarine Starter Fleet Bundle // Victory At Sea
Each of these gives you a good starting point to begin from when it comes to diving into Victory At Sea. You'll get a range of ships in 1/800 scale to play out clashes in the Atlantic or Pacific plus some planes which can harry your opponent as they try to get into position.
Planes & Submarines For Victory At Sea
As well as the Starter Fleets above you'll also be able to snap up some aircraft and submersibles which can help your main force. I've picked out just two offerings here but you can find more on their pre-order page HERE.
Gloster Gladiator Flights // Victory At Sea
Kriegsmarine U-Boats & MTB Sections // Victory At Sea
I picked out some of the rather fun looking sets here including those deadly hunting wolves of the Kriegsmarine! You'll note that you also get small sections of MTB for you to throw into the mix as well, expanding the scope of your Victory At Sea games.
It would be fun to hear from someone who has been able to dive into this game as to how the rules work and what they think of the miniatures we've got on display here. I'm still not overly sold on the big pool bases as they make these look more like display pieces. I suppose that they'd be easier to identify on the tabletop though!

Those are some nice tiny ships.
Nice detailed ships.
Do the rulebooks come with their own life raft as well?
Also, not feeling the love on those airplane mini’s. Another odd presentation. A clear plastic stand may have been better. Now they just look like mammoth whale tails.
