An Update From The Front – Join In With Firestorm Stripes Today
March 16, 2018 by brennon
Battlefront has dropped an update on what's happening with Firestorm Stripes, the massive Team Yankee campaign which follows the battles in Europe between NATO and Warsaw Pact.
Fighting in Germany has continued to grow with intensifying fury over recent days in Battlefront’s Firestorm: Stripes campaign. The Warsaw Pact and NATO forces both strive to strike at the heart of each other’s territory.
In the north the Warsaw Pact forces have solidified their gains and find themselves striking towards Amsterdam, attempting to cut off NATO’s access to the valuable ports. Recent landings by the US Marines near Hamburg have managed to make some ground as the local forces found themselves surprised by such a bold attack.
On the Central Front, the British forces continue to stubbornly hold on to Hanover despite Soviet propaganda claims to the opposite. Where the Soviet-led forces have made major ground is in the Ruhr, almost splitting the NATO forces in two.

Finally, in the Southern Flank NATO forces have made an ambitious (or perhaps reckless) gamble and pushed into East Germany, no doubt trying to break the foundations of the Warsaw Pact itself as they take the fight into enemy territory.
Battlefront’s Team Yankee and Firestorm: Stripes Campaign takes us back to the days of 1985 with the fictional assault on Western Europe by the Soviet army and her allies. Join the fight over at their website or check out the Firestorm Campaign Site to view all the action.
Congratulations to this weeks prize draw winner ComradeDmitri, and the two featured Battle Report winners Harald Knauer and thommo1137. Looking to win some exclusive gamer swag or perhaps some Team Yankee product then check out their website HERE.
