Uncle Sam’s General Infantry are Ready to go from Warlord

If your thinking of getting into 28mm historical wargaming then this new set of American Infantry from Warlord Games might be just the thing for you. It's now ready to pre-order so take a look and then go for it!
Not just great for your historical gaming though! You could paint these folks up and use them for Weird World War, then find yourself a Captain America miniature for the ultimate geek out. Mix in some Sci-Fi weapons for an awesome Castle Wolfenstein army...
Liking these American Infantry models?
typical. been waiting for new 28mm ww2 figures for a while and both warlord and wargames factory release stuff. not that i’m complaining. keep them coming.
Is that a cigar in the bottom left guys mouth?
It does look like it is yes, very cool. Reminds me of Band of Brothers and the intro to Hellboy.

G.I. means General Issue, not General Infantry. They were called it because all their kit had G.I. stamped on it.
Nice kit though.
More very nice WWII models.
G.I. stands for Government issue. It wasn’t stamped on their kit just equipment made from Galvanized Iron which was what it orignally stood for.
Ah yes, you’re right. thats what I get for bashing out a reply before work. 🙂
If the World War era doesn’t interest you, think of it this way – more plastic multipart troops to put lasguns on. The helmet shape and lack of visible flak armour mean these are just a little bit more distinctive than regular old Cadians while retaining that suitable feel.
