Warmill’s New Ultramodern Warfare Building Is Looking Swish!
February 13, 2017 by brennon
If you want to take the fight on the modern battlefield to a new age location then how about with this Ultramodern Warfare Building from Warmill which will be launching at the Beachhead 2017 event on February 18th.
The building has a nice hyper-modern feel to it so that it could either show up in our modern day or far into the future for your Sci-Fi games. I love the design to it, breaking up what could have been quite a flat model with plenty of additional detailing.
This building will launch alongside extra bits and pieces for building up a whole neighbourhood. You could probably base whole games around terrain like this using some of the modern military rules out there from the likes of Spectre and Osprey.
It comes with a nicely detailed interior and two floors on which to fight. There's loads of space inside for moving miniatures around making for a tactical playground. You can see what it looks like when it has been converted up into a larger compound below.
Maybe this is the home of some high-flying drug cartel leader in the US and your team has been sent in to take him down while avoiding civilian casualties?
What do you think of the design?

will look great on a MANGA type table.
I think of Tom Clancys Rainbow six when I see this, modern day law enforcement assaulting the stronghold of a very powerful drug cartel, I can’t really think of many miniature games that are like that? Anyone else got any ideas?
Spectre Black Ops game and minis would fit in perfectly
I can also see a use for it in Infinity, the clean lines fit very much in to that
That is fantastic. Thinking back to the Mercs week on this site (forever ago), this’d fit right in.
Looks very Scandinavian to me. Awesome model. Is it precoloured too?
The model as you see it is how it’ll be sold, if you want to colour the MDF parts it’s designed so you can build the walls, spray everything with a can and then attach the doors, windows and card parts after.
Glad you like the style, this is the second model of 3 in this style. 🙂
