Titan Terrain NZ Hit The Water In New Kriegsfischkutter
April 19, 2019 by brennon
Slowly drifting through the waters of Europe the team at Titan Terrain NZ has previewed their new Kriegsfischkutter which will be available for release soon.
These fellows have really done to town developing this new MDF kit which comes with lots of space onboard for a proper skirmish as your crew defend the flak gun from attack. This would be a perfect addition to a raid scenario set during World War II.
I could imagine this being pushed away from the docks by a band of Allied soldiers as they take command of the gun and use it to take down ambushed German troops!
What do you think of the new kit and have you heard of Titan Terrain NZ before? You can see more of their World War II range and what's available HERE.

Not to sure how it would work in a game , but I could sure build a great looking diorama with this boat . ( note to self , check out videos on how to model water) I assume those are supposed 88mm Flak guns ? If so , I would change the guns to the plastic Italeri or Rubicon version . Same goes if they’re supposed to be 20 / 37mm flaks . Lots of great things made in mdf but guns aren’t one of them IMO
Hiya a27cromwell, The deck guns are 37mm flak guns. I 100% agree that MDF isn’t the best medium to model guns. When I initially designed the boat I had in mind that people would use plastic kits or 3d printed guns. At the last minute though I thought that it would be good to include MDF ones in case someone didn’t want the hassle of having to source third party guns. I’ve seen some great laser cut field artillery though. The 37mm seemed hard to model well or maybe I’m not quite up to the task :p. I might include… Read more »
Yes MDF doe have it limitations. I’m sure those of us who need more ” toscale” looking weapons can find them in resin , pewter or plastic . To me , the boat is the icing and the cake . A lot of MDF stuff ends up looking like a wood box not at all representative of the item modelled .Your boat looks fantastic . I’ve added it to my ” got to buy list “, now to find the $ to buy all these toys … Sorry about the late reply , been on a family Easter weekend trip… Read more »
I think if you painted it up dark, dingey and rusty it’d look good in Necromunda or 40k.
