Spectre Adds Awesome Weapons To The Task Force Operators
November 14, 2016 by stvitusdancern
Spectre Miniatures keeps pushing the bounds by keeping up with the latest trends in special operations warfare. They have now added to the Task Force Operators the ultra-modern XM25 (airburst rifle), a suppressed Origin shotgun and the NLAW (New Light Anti-tank Weapon).
With the addition of these weapon types, it gives your group the option of a broader range of missions.
You now have what you need to take out armoured vehicles and clear buildings at a lower risk to your own operators. I am anxiously waiting for my rulebook and miniatures that I just ordered and it now looks like I will need to make another one.
What kind of mission would you send them on?

Just picked up a couple of their miniatures for a friends RPG he is running and they are fantastic. The only niggle I had is some gun barrels are so thin and flimsy due to realistic scale – trying to decide if I can replace with steel wire but not much room to work with. Otherwise, they are brilliant minis – well recommended.
The gun barrels are pretty strong, I’ve dropped one of my operators onto a concrete floor quite a few times and it’s still on there!
The AK’s, HK’s. seem fine but one of my TFO Grenadier’s Carbines was snapped off on arrival, barrel literally .25mm thick. Generally however you are correct and only two miniatures of the 10 I have had this issue. By no means would it stop me getting them again, they are just too awesome not to have. 🙂
they look good.
They are – best 28mm moderns out there in my opinion.
Thanks for the weapon data in the body of the article I wasn’t sure if that weapon at the back was a bushmaster, MDR or a pistol-carbine build for clearence duties, so thank you and the Specter guys for the up to date firearms knowledge.
