Slave2Gaming Bring The Aussies Into The Korean War
October 16, 2019 by brennon
Slave2Gaming has introduced another set of 28mm releases into the mix for those playing out battles around the Korean War. This time around the Australians are joining the offensive from the South with a whole range of different options.
This shows off pretty much all of the options you have access too from their new range. You will be able to pick up lots of different Australians in different poses; advancing, shooting and charging plus command elements and special weapons too.
I'm not overly a fan of the painting that we're seeing here for these models as it looks a little rushed but I reckon that you'd be able to make these look pretty awesome. I like that there is a vast array of different head options going on here too showing that they've pilfered and snagged equipment from all over the place.
As well as Bren guns, Vickers Machine Guns and SMGs there is also a set of backpacks which you can pick up for when you want to show your Australians on the march. With this all being in 28mm scale you could easily drop this in alongside the forces that went to support the South Korean army during the conflict in Warlord Games' Bolt Action: Korea.
Will you be picking these models up?

Nice one. Been looking to pick up Aussies for Bolt Action.
For me the Korea conflict “look” was all about the haphazard cold weather gear the troops had to deal with in that first winter (they were better supplied later on). Not sure why ALL the releases (including those from Warlord) have gone with the tropical/summer loadout. All the battles that highlight most of the conflict were when the Chinese Troops came across the border and pushed the UN forces back. Warlord do some WW2 US troops in Winter gear, and a Soviet pack with optional heads for the Siberian Vets (along with the winter gear) that helps out with the… Read more »
Great looking Australian troops.
