Set Up Your Small Country Home At GameCraft Miniatures
January 4, 2018 by dracs
GameCraft Miniatures have released a pair of Small Country Houses for your gaming tables.
These 28mm MDF terrain pieces are available in single and two-story variants, including removable roofs to let you move your minis inside.
In design, these buildings are rather generic, which allows them to fit well as background dressing for most real-world game settings. It would be especially good for European townhouses, though they would also fit in an American setting for some alternate history games.
What setting would you use these houses in?

Having seen houses and dwellings in rural areas in the Eifel towards Aachen, Düren into the direction of Cologne I´d use the two-storey houses in a WW II setting for both “The Battle of the Bulge” and “Battle of Hürtgenforest”. A village main road would consist of some of these houses, with an occasional shed on the opposite side of the street for cows, pigs and horses.
Add an old smithy and a baking house and you have a German “Dorf” in the 1940s.
nice and simple.
