Sellsword Miniatures are a new company who are working to produced a series of 28mm models for use in your tabletop wargames. Their first endeavour is to create some World War II Germans for you to drop into games like Bolt Action.
WWII German Infantry // Sellsword Miniatures
Their current plans are to produce a range of German Infantry for World War II starting off with an Infantry Squad made up of five soldiers and one officer. You'll also be able to pick up some additional miniatures in the future including a Mortar Crew and Puma Armoured Car with a few turret options.

They are planning to release the first wave of miniatures as 3D Printable STL Files for you to produce at home although they do also want to make physical miniatures as well if the demand is high. As mentioned above, the scale is around 28mm but they will fluctuate to 32mm as well in some cases. They should be very good for the likes of Bolt Action and Chain Of Command though.

This is just the first of their previews for now but they have plenty more to be getting on with. I do like the look of the miniatures which seem a little more heroic than normal, almost giving things an Action Comics vibe.
October seems to be the date in mind for their first release so make sure to keep an eye on their Facebook Page and here on OTT as we'll be watching to see what else they produce in the intervening month!
Are you liking the look of these early previews?

Nice to starchy at the bottom of their long coats I think.
Ordnung über alles. :р
Not bad, always nice for a gamer to have options
I love how crisp the sculpts are. Would love to see an actual miniature to see what they look like in real life. I think the poses are dynamic and would buy these if and when they come out as physical models, no 3D printer at my house.
Oh dear… they need to work on that zeltbahn.
The webbing is pretty wrong too… not one has a bread bag or waterbottle… and are all wearing a zeltbahn and carrying one rolled up!
Given how much information is available on WW2 uniforms for free online, seems odd to make such errors.
So what’s the problem? Sleeves? A slit at the bottom of the skirt? I’m still working on this, but otherwise I don’t see much difference with the original. Here are the references used in the work:

The zelthbahn doesn’t have sleeves. It shelter half worn as a poncho and tucked in. Its not as fitted. The front flap should narrower and have a gap where the to sides meet, depending on how its worn. It would also have the eyelets. They rolled zeltbahn on the back is odd if he is wearing one, and one has a gas mask cylinder strap but no cylinder. None have water bottles or breadbags. Belt buckle is too large too. As its a work in progress than clearly its not fair to comment on till it is completed. The helmet… Read more »
