Eureka Deploy S.E.A.L Team 6
July 18, 2011 by dracs
Eureka Miniatures are bringing out miniatures of the famous S.E.A.L Team 6, the unit reportedly responsible for the recent operation which targeted Osama bin Laden.
Kitted out with M4 carbines, night vision goggles and infra-red aiming lights, these 6 28mm figures are perfect for any 21st Century modern warfare wargame.
Oh and they have a dog. This mutt is almost as well equipped as the human members of the unit, boasting an infra-red night sight camera and ballistic vest.
But what do you guys think of these? Would any of you consider deploying these boys in any of your games? Incidentally, if you already have some 21st century miniatures and want to kit them out for night operations the night vision goggles sported by the SEALS are available separately. So what are you waiting for? Get yourself a set of these guys and start gaming.
They look great and would no doubt go well with the Empress Miniature’s excellent line of modern 28mm US (and UK) minis. The only problem is the shipping from AU 🙁
these are excellent , I am working on a GI Joe wargame , probably using 7TV or FWC and these will be perfect.
Fantastic mins but wont buy them coz of the AUS shipping £. So, essentially what the guy above me is saying 😉
also quite cool for my MW call of duty game I was thinking about..
look nice
Well, never fear… There is a shop in the UK carrying Eureka miniatures: http://www.fighting15sshop.co.uk/
They are a bit pricier that way, but at least it’s Europe. Yet, I wouldn’t dismiss ordering directly from Eureka as they are very very friendly and very fair with their P&P and it is always worth it to send them an email and ask for a quote. There have been occasions where it was cheaper to order in Aussieland! 🙂
Oh, as for the minis… There I don’t like as much as I did their Russians and Americans in NBC suits… but the dog is fantastic!
Meh chicken necks. Nice guns though. Sorry, ‘weapon systems’.
Knock knock…
Hoo iss derrr ?
SEAL TEAM 6 Beyatch! lols
Are they part giraffe?
Eh. I’ll be interested once they bring out 21st century Russian VDV with either AK-74Ms or the new AK-200s or 1980s Afghanistan VDV with ACTUAL BLOODY AKS-74s and not anachro-tacular AK-47s. Even seeing an AK-47 in games these days fills me with serious nerd rage…
