Rubicon Models Previews WIP For German Troops
October 20, 2015 by stvitusdancern
Rubicon Models posted on Facebook a picture from their digital test sculpt of a German Soldier for 28mm.
This is the second attempt and they are posting it for people to give suggestions on how to improve the miniature before it goes to manufacturer. They state they are trying to get it as close to proportionate as possible. I have to say I love that a company takes the time to get input from their customer base.
It shows that they feel connected and the customers feel as a company cares not only about the all might pound or dollar. Rubicon Models is really making a name for themselves in the 28mm WWII genre and just gives us more options to add to our own armies.
What do you think of this project?

Looks promising.
It will be good to have more options in WW2 plastics. I’ve got bolt action and Wargames factory stuff so far and they are both nice but each has some issues. If rubicon can get the proportions right and achieve realistic posing I’ll buy a ton of em!
Rubicon are doing very well with the vehicles so I hope to see BOW unboxing a few soon (hint hint hint).
nice details they even have the creases on the trouser leg.
I like that they seem to take into account that folds in garments, such as the the uniform arms, legs and waste should pull down due to gravity. It comes off much more realistic this way.
