Rubicon Models Preview Viet Cong Plastic Kits For 2021
December 28, 2020 by brennon
A new set of plastic miniatures are coming from Rubicon Models. The Vietnam War was the focus of their attention throughout November and December and it seems like it will be in 2021 too.
Viet Cong Plastic Sprue // Rubicon Models
A new Viet Cong Male Infantry set is going to be their FIRST kit for next year and will feature plenty of options for those wanting to dive into this period.

You can get a peek at a lot of the options available from the sprues in the images above and also check out the way these miniatures will look in the renders below too.
Viet Cong Soldier Renders // Rubicon Models
This is a great option for those wanting to play out the Vietnam War in 28mm. Rubicon Models have been powering through vehicles for years but it’s nice to have options for the rank and file. You can’t have a war without the troops on the ground doing all the hard work.
Are you going to be snapping these up?

they also have a female variant on that same facepage thingy …
now all we need is a game to play 😀
that’s cool! will have to check them out. Too Fat Lardies have a ruleset called Charlie Don’t Surf but I haven’t played it yet
I remember Gerry mentioning that he thought the Vietnam war would receive more focus from manufacturers in 2021. Warlord recently mentioned they would visit the South East Asia once they had finished the Second World War and Korea so I’d expect them to bring out a supplement at least within the bolt action system. This set looks pretty detailed with lots of options.
There was a port of Bolt Action in an old Wargames, Soldiers and Strategy (called Full Auto IIRC). I window shop Vietnam minis now and then but have never taken the plunge.
That’s grand I didn’t know that so thanks for the heads up will be looking that up for sure ?
Finally some good guys 😀
They are looking good figures.
Nice. Hopefully the spare ak47 a Rpg weapons/arms will be suitable for use with the Wargames Atlantic and Perry miniatures Afghans.
