The Release Schedule For Team Yankee’s Iron Maiden Revealed
September 5, 2016 by brennon
Battlefront's Team Yankee will soon be playing host to the British with the release of Iron Maiden in October. The team behind the game have shown off the new release schedule for the army so you can plan out your next assault.
The new rulebook (pictured above) is going to lead the way alongside a boxed set, Charlie's Chieftains and some paint sets which will help you get these armies ready for the field of battle.
Of course there are going to be some additional fun units and vehicles to play around with beyond just the Chieftain Tanks. There will be helicopters too...
...and ways of shooting them down too of course. There's plenty to look forward to.
In late October you're going to be seeing the likes of the FV432 or Swingfire Troop as well as a Mechanised Company. November then welcomes the Lynx Helarm Flight and the Tracked Rapier SAM Section. There's much more too so keep an eye on the schedule for what you might want to pick up.
Lastly here's a neat look at one of the cards for the Chieftain.
If you're interested in learning a little more about Iron Maiden then check out WWPD where some of these images were taken from.
Will you be collecting the British?

Tempting.
could be fun faction, but “iron maiden” and chieftains dont mix.
challenger 1 and “iron maiden”, now THAT does mix!
Won’t you come into my room, I wanna show you all my wares.
I just want to see your blood, I just want to stand and stare.
See the blood begin to flow as it falls upon the floor.
Iron Maiden can’t be fought, Iron Maiden can’t be sought.
Oh Well, wherever, wherever you are,
Iron Maiden’s gonna get you, no matter how far.
See the blood flow watching it shed up above my head.
Iron Maiden wants you for dead.
I’m going to have to listen to this when I get home now

I’ve got quite a Team Yankee backlog painting wise but yeah, I certainly get Brits as well.. 😎
I am excited for this, I started with Soviets so I could have a red force while waiting for the Brits. And the Division layout….4 different formations? That makes the Brits the most versatile force at the moment. The Airmobile unit is the most intriguing, especially with the hints that Brits will spam MILANs.
So, it looks like I’m taking up Team Yankee in October. I should probably start looking for opponents in my area 😉
Iron Maiden = Maggie Thatcher? 😮
That’s what I also thought when I saw that this is called Iron Maiden.
Old Maggie was the Iron Lady, not Maiden. …
Make me wonder if the name came from hanging out with us at the bootcamp. … time for 2 minutes to midnight
D’oh!
I’m probably in the minority in that I’m glad it’s the Chieftan and not the early Challenger, partly because Chieftan’s such an iconic tank for me, but mostly because it fits what I suspect will be the Brit focus which will be the infantry and mobility rather than their MBT. It will be interesting to see what the stats are like because I’m expecting good infantry, light tanks and artillery. “Oh-Kay” MBT and close air support. Below par Anti-air (Pretty sure the tracked Rapier wasn’t exactly up there with the best when it came down to hitting stuff like, you… Read more »
Yay the brits are coming with chieftan’s the best looking tank ever and harriers to take out any hinds/aircover in their way.
