Heer46 Previews Their Wintery World War II Tank Hunters
May 3, 2017 by brennon
Heer46 are handing out in a wintery World War II setting with their latest preview of a Panzerknacker Team over on Facebook.
This group of soldiers are armed with bits and pieces they appear to have scavenged together in order to try and hobble Allied tanks as they pass on by.
With mines, grenades strapped to fuel and more it shows just what the soldiers had to resort to when it came to dealing with the enemy.
As a characterful vignette, you could make up a neat diorama here with these soldiers holding out in the woods as Allied tanks rumble along a nearby road.
What do you think?

You can clearly see this is a what-if situation because the germans have winter dress.
Just had a quick look around the Heer46 website; it’s full of really good-looking miniatures. Having to exercise enormous restraint not to buy multiple platoons of Winter Germans…
Everything from Heer 46 looks brilliant, they really capture the feel , their on my list !
