Pre-Order The British Foxhound From Evil Bear Wargames
February 4, 2016 by brennon
If you're looking for a big beefy looking vehicle to get you in and out of a warzone then see what you make of the Foxhound which is now on pre-order from Evil Bear Wargames. Here we have the metal and resin kit below in 28mm scale...
From what I've read from Evil Bear this is made based on the actual vehicles used by the British Army but I'm sure some of our military experts can let me know for sure. Either way it's an impressive looking kit and as well as looking good could provide covering fire with those machine guns.
Talking of cover we also have actual cover when you hunker down behind one of these beasts. I think I'd feel rather safe inside the Foxhound. With those new plastic kits coming out from Wargames Factory and Warlord Games for modern warfare gaming this could be a nice piece to snap up.
What do you think?

I love it! I will be ordering one for sure. The question is.. will one be enough? 😀
My father in law built some of the real Foxhounds, the project managers didn’t think about heat testing the glues and resins until after the vehicles were built, they stuck one in an oven and turned it to Afghan temps and bits started dropping off, so they had to start the build again.
…sounds like the MoD to me!
Looks really good!
A far nicer model than the Astra Militaum Taurus.
Unless you stick the Victoria Miniatures wheeled conversion kit, in which case the Taurus is damn fine.
Thank you for the kind words, this has been a long process getting one of my favourite vehicles to the table top. This got shown today by a good friend to the guys who build these and they loved it, wich makes me very proud. Under the top hatches is a recess so you can pop your minis in to man the guns, currently sculpts are being worked on for crew, using the latest images of future concepts the British army that are in testing. The pre-orders are selling fast so if you want to secure yours soon now is… Read more »
Oh you are? Great! I will be demoing Warzone all weekend on the Trelawnies Armies table at PAW so I will see you there!
I’d love one of these, but my moderns are 20mm.
Maybe one day 😉 but for now S&S do a nice foxhound in 20mm scale, give them a nod if its not on thier website yet 😉
Mine too or i’d be having a few of these.
I wanted to do 20mm but when I did a poll the results where 28mm 33 votes 15mm 11 votes and 20mm only got 4 votes :/
I have no moderns but I want one of these for … I don’t know what. Rule of cool or something. Nice work!
I feel we are living in a wonderful time where we have some technology surpasing current Scifi in looks and feel. OSC mixes modern with near future to make what i like to call near modern, your be able to read more about it all next month in wargames illustrated (march issue) The fox hound is current and has been in deployment for a few years now, but i feel it would sit quite at home in any scifi force as military, security, or even civilian use. If you look on the websites small blog your see the next 2… Read more »
