A quick preview has dropped from Battlefront Miniatures focusing on what awaits for World War III: Team Yankee. The Nordic Forces are on the advance, storming down from the North through the show to do battle as part of the Cold War Gone Hot.

The collection is going to focus on a range of 15mm Modern miniatures that could have been fighting during the period. That means miniatures for the Norwegians, Swedish, Finnish and Danish. All of them are looking to fight back against the advance by the Soviets.

The miniatures will be coming out later in the Summer and making war in the North of Europe on 29th July 2023. You don't have long to wait and will find yourself diving into all sorts of different scenarios played out in various theatres of war that are both snowy and muddy!

I will buy the book and see if any of the forces grab my attention. The S tanks are very tempting but I do wonder if stats are going to make all of these armies second tier compared to Leopard A2, Challenger, Abrams and T-80.
I suspect the new Nato armies coming later this year might be better in that respect.

The Swedish army box does seem to offer a great deal in either number of models or variety compared to previous starter armies.
