Victrix Miniatures have now released their new plastic kit for those wanting to add 12mm Soviet Armour into their World War II wargames. You can now pick up the pack of T34 Tanks allowing you to make the 76/85 variants for use on the tabletop.

Inside the set, you'll get access to six of these tanks which can be kitted out to deal with all sorts of situations during World War II. The T34 was a pretty formidable tank and the design of the vehicle meant that it could deflect some oncoming fire. It could either be armed with the 76.2mm gun or be upgraded to the 85mm later in the war.

The set, as you'll see, comes with a set of tanks but also tank riders and tank commanders. You can design your tanks as the T34/85 or T34/76 and with the chKZ cast turret. There are also two different styles of wheel with both spoked and dished versions for you to choose from.

If you're interested in the kit, here is a breakdown of the sprue showcasing what comes inside the kit.

It seems like a decent set that shouldn't be that hard to build. Whilst there are plenty of T34s out there for you to choose from, I do like that Victrix went the extra mile and added the tank riders into this set. It should be fun painting those up and working out a nice way to mount them so they can be removable.
What do you make of this newly available T34 kit?

They look nice but having just started Flames of war it gets to the major issue I have with scale and company products. You have flames of war which is in 15mm, this Victrix for some reason they are at 12mm another company i was looking at was at 20mm. The scale in the hobby is all over the place. If you had the 28mm, then 15mm then 6mm fine but all these random in between sizes companies I dont understand it. It was like conquest with then 32mm model if they had made them in 28mm so I could… Read more »
I have the same issue. I got into wargaming while coming from scale modelling. It would be amazing if wargaming models came in true 1/56, 1/72, and 1/144 scales.
Ooh nice.
