Battlefront Miniatures teased new plastic 15mm Soviet Infantry for World War III: Team Yankee at the start of the year. Now, they have revealed the 15mm US Infantry that will be coming soon to support your Cold War Gone Hot battles on the tabletop.

This American Mechanised Infantry will be coming out soon and features a whole bunch of different weapons for you to consider using. You've got the likes of your standard Riflemen alongside soldiers armed with various means of taking out fortified positions and enemy vehicles. Quite important in a game like Team Yankee.
Due to popular demand, Battlefront also showed off the sprues for the Marines that you'll be able to add to your Cold War-era wargames.

Two sets of the Marines can be combined with the Mechanised Infantry Sprue above to create a full Marine Rifle Platoon or Airmobile Platoon. As Battlefront mentioned, you'd just need to add in the Hueys and AAVPs and you'll be ready for some battles against the Soviet invasion.
More releases are lined up for World War III: Team Yankee over the coming months so make sure to keep an eye out. What do you make of the new details on these plastic kits though? I think they look very sharp and seem like they would take Speed/Contrast paints very well with the addition of a little more highlighting to finish them off.
Will you be picking up some of these for yourself?

Were there a lot more poses with the “old” US Army Plastics (I don’t think they did Marines in plastic)?
These seem like half sprues compared to the older ones, then again Battlefront’s games aren’t exactly known for the players bothering to field infantry along with the massed ranks of tanks (usually formed up side by side in a formation more akin to a Napoleonic line formation, along with massed self propelled artillery all touching the baseline (or rammed up against a building)) 😀
Great to see Battlefront release more infantry in hard plastic and for the first time for team yankee too. Sure to be a welcome addition to those of us that like our foot sloggers, and perfect for a whole host of other games too!
My only comment would be these seem smaller sprues with less poses that the old plastic infantry kits for the WWII range, but if thats the price to pay for getting these done in plastic it seems a reasonable compromise

Totally dude!
