The first of these sets is the Iltis Patrol (Polecat in English) which can be used to drop ahead of your advancing tanks and infantry. They are going to be good for getting information passed down the line on enemy formations and with that TOW in play, you might even be able to land a good hit on some enemy armour as it tries to move into position. A good harassing force.
You can also get your hands on two sets of infantry to use with your games. The first of these is the Canadian Mechanised Platoon that you see here armed with standard rifles as well as a selection of special weapons for dealing with oncoming threats like enemy armour.

The second of the sets for the Canadians is the Airborne Weapons Group.
Airborne Weapons Group // World War III: Team Yankee
Whilst the Mechanised Platoon will be fighting in tandem with vehicles, the Airborne Weapons Group will be dropping in from above. Bring this all together and you've got an assault doctrine that feels like it has been pulled from the Soviet playbook. You get a good mix of weapons in the set including HMGS and Mortars which are going to be handy when flushing infantry out of their hiding places.
Another of the smaller infantry options that you can get your hands on (Direct Only) is the Eryx Team.
Eryx Team // World War III: Team Yankee
These fellows replaced the less devastating Carl Gustav Anti-Tank Missle with a short-range but guided weapon that you see here. Stick these fellows in an alleyway or on the top of a building and you could end up with a decent chance of stopping a Soviet convoy in its tracks.
Handy Canadian Vehicle Options
As well as the infantry, you can also get your hands on two sets of vehicles with the Couger and the Grizzly Transports.
Cougar Armoured Troop // World War III: Team Yankee
The Cougar Armoured Troop are good for those wanting to add some more punch to their scouting party as it ranges ahead of the main force. Based on the Swiss Mowag Piranha, this is going to be a handy way for you to hamper your enemy with their guns!
The Grizzle Transports do what they say on the tin!

Use these as armoured personnel carriers to get your infantry into the heart of the fighting. They are then able to lay down covering fire with those mounted turrets which come in the form of a .50 cal MG or a 7.62mm machine gun.
Will you be using these 15mm miniatures to help support the Canadians as they take on the advance of the Soviets in Team Yankee?

I was an armoured reconnaissance officer during the period when these were in service; generally, they are awful models and definitely not ones I would buy.
No idea what FoW planned with these – they are a tiny piece of any actual TO&E that we used. As usual, a terrible job from FoW.
A shame that most of the new nato kit is all resin and metal kits.
