Spectre Miniatures has added six new packs of miniatures to their webstore for those looking to expand on the scenario opportunities in Spectre Operations. The focus this time around is on some Covert/Overt Operators that you can use during your Modern Warfare-era wargames.

US Covert Operator // Spectre Miniatures

Each of the miniatures comes with both a Covert and Overt version of their character. This means that when you're building your scenarios you can have them milling around with the civilians on the tabletop before going loud and dealing with your true objective.

UK Covert Operator // Spectre Miniatures

I really like these packs. I think it feeds nicely into the narrative and scenario-based games that Spectre Operations pushes. I imagine them trying to "case" a building and gain information but there are enemy Operators out there too trying to thwart their efforts.

Russian Covert Operator // Spectre Miniatures

This could lead to a clash of a running gunfight as the Operator has to try and make their way out of the hot zone and get back to troops who are stationed nearby. I like the idea of a Homeland-esque or Bourne-style scenario where the agents are the main focus alongside a civilian population which are getting in the way!

MENA Covert Operator // Spectre Miniatures

You could run a game as a four-player experience. Two of the players take on the role of the US and UK Operators who are working together to gain information on an important target. Then, someone could play as the MENA or African Operator who is looking to find out who they are and take them out.

African Covert Operator // Spectre Miniatures

Then you throw in the fourth player as a Russian or Chinese Operator who is working to complete their own objective. They don't want to stop the US and UK Operators from completing their objective but they do want the information they have. So, they are working semi-cooperatively with them with an aim to take them out and steal the intel at the end!

Chinese Covert Operator // Spectre Miniatures

Cap things off with another player taking on the role of the Games Master. They could throw all manner of spanners into the works and play around with the civilians and the environment to keep the narrative going.

I think this would make for a really fun scenario to use when dropping these Operators into the mix!
