New Blood Red Skies Germans Arriving January 2019

Warlord Games has now given us a proper release date for the new German planes we previewed not long ago for Blood Red Skies. The Fw 190 Focke Wulf and the Messerschmitt Bf 110 will be coming in January 2019 as well as a few special bundles too.
The new planes are going to be coming out with a range of different Aces who will serve to add some character to proceedings and help give you that taste of those who took to the skies during this period of History.
The three bundles break down into the Defence Of The Reich Set...
...which comes with the Ace Pilot known as Pips Priller as well as the Bf100 Zerstorerwaffe bundle with Bombo Shenk...
...and the Jagdgeschewader 54 set which is led by Otto Kittle. This is where we start to see Blood Red Skies really ramping up in terms of not only the amount of aircraft you can have on the tabletop but also the variety of them too.
Blood Red Skies has hit all the right notes for a lot of people with its simple and easy to get into system and the sheer variety of planes that you can bring to bear. I think it's great that they kept the scale smaller to allow for larger engagements and very interesting dogfights.
It also means that when it comes to scenarios we've got a lot of cool ideas to work through!

Looking forward to seeing the expansion of this range. Its limited non British options and availability the only thing that has stopped me going in on it up to now.
I enjoy this game quite a bit! The aerial dog-fighting is fun, smooth, and quick to learn. Two vs two is a lot of fun once you feel comfortable in the cockpit.
As more choices of aircraft become available it will open up the game to more players.
I fully understand the decision to not flood the market with too many choices all at once.
