John and Gerry go head to head in this miniatures game. As fans of the videogame they're finding a lot to like in this adaptation. One thing that diverges from it's digital forbearer is that when controlling multiple tanks there is the opportunity for teamwork amongst these metallic behemoths.
What tanks are you looking forward to controlling?

Great fun enjoyed that
Love this guys. Great seeing let’s plays back up again! Great wee game too
is it better, the same or worse than the original Tanks game ?
I suspect it probably is a bit more expensive given the pre-primed and assembled tanks …
Can I get an upgrade from my Tanks to the ? world?
No, they do not seem to be selling upgrade packs.
looks a good fun play to play guys.
Nice little game, and one i thought Mr Lyons would of won. Seeing as it was a lets play, John can be for given. Nice play through guys.
Thanks for the great playthrough. First one I’ve watched in a while. So…question…which would be better to wean 12 to 14 year olds off Warlords of Erehwon, elves and dragons, etc.? World of Tanks is a VERY light game. If they are enjoying WoE and GoA then Bolt Action seems the obvious choice.
I don’t remember playing initiative rolls in TANKS the skirmish game (might be wrong), so that is a good change… you don’t want certain high initiative tanks being difficult to take on every game just down to stats. Though the add on crew, equipment and stratagems cards were often initiative focused to fight that. I don’t remember destructible terrain either, so that’s a fun addition. Even though TANKS is a history light game, played very much like a computer game, I won’t be getting World of Tanks. I like that in TANKS you still fight as sides / nations rather… Read more »
true, something about US and German fighting Russian and British just not right. This is my main issue of games that allow a free for all. Understand the concept but still, US M4A3E8 sherman and Comet vs T34-85 at least is Korean war conflict so i can go for that.
Rules seemed pretty much how I remembered Tanks….
I enjoyed watching this.
