great addition to tanks, be interesting to see how T-55’s play in this. would have been better i think if they managed to scale it with ww2 era tanks and included Vietnam, Korea, and AIW vehicles. also the movement template looks a little sloppy with the helicopter base
Lovely models with a good system to play in.
Very interesting game, would love to get it, so i can play it with my m8. We are tank fanatics.
The WW2 Tanks is great, and the addition of the helos is a good one. Really hope they do another playthrough with some of the other nations and the less ‘tanky’ units, like the BMP or striker.
Looks fun. Like the addition of the helicopters
Fascinating, would love to see more of this game!
Literally finished reading Team Yankee for the first time this morning. This game could be a great way to replicate some of those smaller battles.
Helicopters looks like a nice addition. Would be great if we can get planes in the WW2 version of Tanks.
Those walls are beautiful. Wish I had the room.
a great instructional gamers video guys.
Would love to see more about this. I would love to get into team yankeex but there’s no way I could convince my group to get *another* system. This I might be able to.
Very cool! I enjoyed the ww2 edition, might give this a try.
I’ve enjoyed WW2 Tanks and FoW.
Looking forward to this and getting my British TY started in the new year.
It looks great. I like that it has no infantry. Those modern tanks make me wanna play it. Would be nice to have my whole ‘army’ painted ^_^
Good to see the Lloydislaviness. terrain out of storage again
I think Echo might have been down sooner as 2 points of damage was missed but i am not 100%
It’s nice to see a modern warfare TANKS game!
Helis shoud spice up this game and give it another dimension; sweet!
Cheers!
I really like the fact there being helicopters in this edition. It’s made it a lot more interesting to me.
Dice can be so cruel!
Game looks great on the tabletop with all that terrain!
Just wondered if you couldn’t paint your call-signs onto the tanks, and keep *all* your chits and tracker tokens off the board, back at the “command centre”?. I love cinematic games like this, but find tokens and chits littering the board a little distracting!
Maybe next global campaign needs to be the war between Lloydislavia and Warrenistan?
Oh! Not a global campaign! The two brothers pick teams and play as generals commanding both sides in a long running team campaign run by Oriskany. Allow games to be played using multiple WWII and modern systems. Could be fun to follow across the year.
Curious about the game, but still on the fence
Great game, i would like to see also M 48s or Leopards 2 vs T-80s or Altay. The tanks Greece, Cyprus and Turkey have. Actually to see tank battles either really happened or are likely to happen all over the globe, not just Nato angaist Soviets.
This is very nice. Can’t wait to play 🙂
Nice game and video. Like the modern tanks. Can you use A-10s for a ground attack? And can the Chinese or Japanese join in?
Hi friends,
this was a nice game with a lot of sixes rolled by John. I was wondering some time ago whether to but Tanks or Team Yankee. I decided to go with Team Yankee, yet I see the game of Tanks to be a lot of fun and a great introduction for my fiance since she is lately really interested in tabletop. If I don’t win it here I will buy this starter!
