New Leopard 1 Kits Arriving Soon From Plastic Soldier Company
August 7, 2017 by brennon
A new set of Leopard 1 plastic kits are coming out from Plastic Soldier Company in the near future in a variety of different scales.
This Modern range will be coming out in 10mm, 15mm and 20mm so you'll have all manner of gaming systems covered with these models.
As well as big sets of tanks there are also plans for plenty of infantry to throw into the mix as well plus the potential of a boxed game too which makes use of them all!
Will you be keeping an eye on their plans?

As mentioned in another post they are still only thinking about 10mm
No wonder, 10mm market is probably the smallest from the three scales mentioned above and making moulds in not free
Wouldn’t it make sense if they were only doing one to make for the largest of the available markets? (Whichever that is.)
People buying PSC kits for use in games like Flames of War can’t have hurt their business. I’d be surprised if they wanted to ditch that market.
Not saying you’re wrong, or that I know better. I’m just interested in the thinking behind these decisions!
Their own system is played in 20mm scale and they already said there will be cold war version of Battlergoup so it makes sense to release the kit in that scale.
they look good.
ooooh mammy daddy, come here me beauty!
Leopard 1s. Nice addition! 😀 This, plus plastic T-55s we saw earlier, continue to build up toward some great 60s-70s Cold War Action.
Now some T-62s, so we can launch into some Yom Kippur War gaming . . .
70’s? *gasp* We (Canadians) had Leo 1’s throughout the 80’s and 90’s. Our government canceled plans to put them on pedestals at our bases and legions so they could send them to Asscrackistan!
It comes down to pricing in the end. Pendraken tanks are roughly £3 to £3.50 for their metal WW2 tanks with their metal T55 at £4.75 .It will interesting to see the 15mm costs for PSC modern in 15mm.
Timecast are selling 10mm T64 for £4.50 or £40 for 10
Oooh Hoo Hoo! (the actual sound I made when i saw this post!) Very cool, very cool. 😀
