Boom Go Kromlech’s Big Polish World War II Guns
March 25, 2019 by brennon
Kromlech Historical continue to almost single-handedly add to the range of Polish options available for those playing as them in their World War II games. Their newest addition to the armour includes the wz.02/26 75mm Field Gun.
These guns might not look like much but they were well liked by their crews. They were simple to use and very easy to maintain as well. These 'cavalry artillery units' were very hard for the Germans to deal with during some of the early conflicts of the war and proved to be troublesome to deal with.
It was recorded that during the Battle Of Mokra (a victory for the Polish) the combined efforts of the Polish were able to account for eighty tank kills with a loss of just six field guns. I would say that that is a pretty big tick in the 'awesome' box for these guns and their crews.
With the early war being something not rarely tackled, especially this desperate defence by the Polish against the German Blitzkrieg, I could see a few people enjoying this time period with the inclusion of some big heavy guns!
What do you think?
"...the combined efforts of the Polish were able to account for eighty tank kills with a loss of just six field guns"
