Khurasan Miniatures Is Getting Hot For Cold War Miniatures
December 3, 2015 by stvitusdancern
Khurasan Miniatures has previewed a few new miniatures in 15mm for the late Cold War era. There is the iconic M1 Abrams tank, a T-72 tank and the ever present BMP-2 Infantry Fighting Vehicle.
With the tremondous success of our latest boot camp, I definitaley see the Cold War period getting a lot of game play, already I am seeing some 15mm miniatures from different companies getting harder to get.
With Khurasan getting into the fray it leaves us gamers with even more options. These miniatures are finely detailed and will be a mix of resin and pewter kits.
They will come in sets of three and right now you can get them at a special price. So all of you want to be tank commanders out there, you might want to take a look at these.
Are you ready for some Cold War action?

About £8 each then.An OK price if your doing very small scale skirmish
The BMP looks pretty solid. A BMP-2, I guess? With the 30mm autocannon?
Looks cool doesn’t it? I like the Konkurs missile launcher on the turret.
Or AT-5 Spandrel for all us NATO slobs 🙂
Ah, just using the more common terminology here 🙂
Those are rather good.
Nice models, price not so far from BF…
They produce fantastic minis – you should check-out their sci-fi stuff!
Yes the red faction is a good next gen hind? & the medium tank a next gen Abram?
for a 2016/7ish time war?
My only hesitation is the metal-resin combo. I’ve never had luck with that from other companies, the metal parts and resin parts never fit together well (I haven’t tried it from this company). Also, $12 a piece is the “special price?” So the regular price is like $15-16 ?? Battlefront is going to plastic. My other two favorite companies (PSC and Zvezda) have always been in plastic. I think that’s the preferred material in the future (at least for me). All that said, these miniatures look great. Something about that long 125mm smoothbore gun on a T-72 (or T-64 or… Read more »
they look good even if more expensive that others.
Someone do T80U already! 😛
They really look cool
Before there was such detailed barrels I used to get my dad to turn them for me! I have built a few of their minis and never had a problem with any of the parts – trimming the odd wheel, or two, was the worst thing I had to do.
I often browse their website while I have a bath – my wife describes it as my ‘porn’.
