The collection gives you a range of new miniatures to use as you're playing out the clash between the West and Russia during the Cold War period. You can see much of their range here which would be brilliant for skirmish games like 7TV or Pulp Alley for example.
Considering the current political climate it's an era of history that might be seeing a resurgence as people start to learn more about the period. While of course, you're looking towards making up Hollywood-esque scenarios with this range you could always look to real life for some cues - it's sometimes stranger than fiction!
