Eureka Miniatures Head To The Tropics With 20mm British Soldiers
November 27, 2019 by brennon
Eureka Miniatures has been showing off some previews of what's coming next year. Here we have some previews for a set of 20mm British Soldiers in Tropical Dress, ready to get stuck into the fighting in all manner of different poses.
This set of miniatures was sculpted by Tony Barton and would be a good fit for those playing as the British in Tunisia, Italy and Burma. You'll be able to pick them up early next year which is great and should give you some nice options for those wanting to dive into more 20mm wargaming on the tabletop.
As you can see they have produced a lot of different character models, some with heavier weapons than others and even a few just carting around ammo to support some of these larger weapons.
On top of this 20mm selection, the folks at Eureka have also been talking about crafting some 28mm Japanese for World War II so watch this space.
What do you think?

These will be available via the Eureka UK store as well
You’ll probably be able to get them via the AB figures webstore (when they are released). However if the Japanese mentioned in the article are released then that purchase will have to come from Eureka (or whatever/whomever they decide upon as their UK distributor…it does seem to be taking ages for them to give out the details on that one)
Yes, you are quite right they will be available from the Eureka Miniatures UK site alongside everything else that Eureka Miniatures and AB Figures produce. Here is the link to the UK site for those that have missed it. https://www.eurekaminuk.com/
Fabulous figures.
Just being pedantic but these are by AB Figures and distributed via Eureka.
Certainly the best figures available in this scale and arguably any scale. For me anyway!
Yes that had me scratching too. 20mm WWII through Eureka ……….that can only mean AB. Anyway, all’s well. They are still the best 20mm on the planet.
Well to be fair Eureka do have a small range of their own 20mm minis including Japanese, though I’m not sure about them. Personally I have a gut feeling/hope that AB may end up doing Japanese to oppose these Commonwealth troops so will cross my fingers.
