Eureka Releases New Fighting Vehicle For The Australians In 15mm
September 1, 2016 by stvitusdancern
Eureka Miniatures has always done really great work and this time around is no exception! They bring us in 15mm the ASLAV (Australian Light Armoured Vehicle) and it comes in two variations, the Type 1 Gun Car and the Type 2 PC Car.
The ASLAV an eight wheeled fighting vehicle has been a part of the Australian Army since the early 1990s and has served in many theatres of war since.
The first iteration of the ASLAV is the Gun Car which has a 25mm turret mounted dual feed gun along with a couple of 7.62mm LMGs to keep the other sides infantry's heads down. This is typically a 3 man reconnaissance vehicle .
The second version the PC Car, is a 2 man crew and capable of carry 7 men into the action.
It is typically mounted with a .50cal HMG and a 7.62mm LMG, it may also be equipped with a 12.5 mm MMG or a personal favorite of mine the Mk 40 grenade launcher. These models will be a nice addition to my 15mm modern collection for a game like Skirmish Sangin.
Have you tried modern yet?

Very nice
nice would make great scouts for team yanky?
…just a little bit. That LAV is beautiful – like a sunrise. Even more impressive that it is 15mm.
Rather nice considering it’s size.
Wow! Look at the size of that platform!
